What are the Five Sentence Patterns?
There are five sentence patterns in the English language, and they are
1. S + Vi
2. S + Vi + SC
3. S + Vt + O
4. S + Vt + IO + DO
5. S + Vt + O + OC

S= Subject
Vi= Intransitive Verb Vt= Transitive Verb
SC= Subject Compliment
O = Object
DO= Direct Object
IO= Indirect Object
OC= Object Compliment
